Education
We work closely with Certified Teachers for all our educational programs. Our science curriculum meets both ASD and Matsu Borough science requirements and we are always eager to work with teaching advisors, home schools, public schools, and educators to make the programs we have exciting, invigorating, and captivating while meeting the goals of students and curriculum requirements at the same time.
We are always open to new learning opportunities for both our staff as well as the students that attend.
2014 High school Opportunities

Photography and Design Opportunity:
For the summer of 2014 we would like to offer a project opportunity for a high school student interested in photography and design.
We are willing to match the scope of the project with your high school curriculum and work with your teaching advisor. Our certified teachers already work closely with high school programs and have had students complete a variety of projects with us in the past. Due to parent inquiry about the need for this type of application we are extending our educational opportunities to include more than just science, this year.
We would like to extend our education programs this summer to include this new project.
The goal of this project would be for a student to be able to take their photography and or graphics skills and apply them to a real life application.
Some ideas for the scope of this project include the use of multi-media video creation for the web, logo design, photo discs and or t-shirts. These are only possible ideas. We are open to discussion about this opportunity. You will be given full credit for the designs and will be able to include them in your portfolio for future employment.
Student Teaching
If you are a high school student with an interest in a teaching degree this opportunity will pair you with a certified teacher working with students ages 4-12. You must be at least 16 years old. You will learn how to create lesson plans, organize a classroom and work with students in a variety of educational lessons. Your responsibilities will include class room organization, clean up, setting up materials for a variety of lessons including science, art, geography and writing. You must also have a love for animals. Most science activities have animal interaction.
